Woman's Body Discovered In Burned Car on UCSD Campus

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 30—A woman’s body was discovered inside an incinerated car parked on a lot on Voigt Drive at the UCSD campus. Police and firefighters arrived around 9:30 PM on Friday night shortly after receiving a call about the burning vehicle. When firefighters put out the fire, they discovered a female body inside the car. The victim has not yet been identified and the cause of death is still unknown. An autopsy is scheduled Monday to determine whether this case will be investigated as a homicide. Anyone with information about the incident should call the San Diego Police Department.
